Preheat the oven to 350F. Lightly grease a loaf pan with butter or two paper loaf molds.
In a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream together the butter and sugar until combined. Add the salt and add one egg and a time on medium speed.
Combine the flours, baking powder, and baking soda. Alternate adding the dries with the yogurt until combine.
Finally, fold in the chopped walnuts and dates. Scoop the batter into your mold or pan and bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
