In a cold cast iron pan, lay out a few slices of the bacon, 4 slices should be fine depending on the size of your pan. Place the pan over medium heat. Cook the bacon low and slow Flip the bacon occasionally until you get a nice even brown on both size. Place the cooked crispy bacon on a few paper towels to drain. Continue cooking the rest of the bacon.
Toast the bread either on the pan or in a toaster. I personally love slathering a bit of mayonnaise on one side and toasting it on the pan.
Spread some mayonnaise on one piece of toast. Layer on the lettuce, bacon, and then the tomatoes. Top it with the second piece of bread and enjoy.
