In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Place the bowl over a double boiler over simmering water.
Whisk until the sugar dissolves and the mixture reaches 160F. Add the finely ground Oreo crumbs and whisk until the crumbs dissolve and the mixture takes on a grey color. Transfer to a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment.
Whisk on medium speed until the mixture reaches room temperature. Slowly add the soft butter. Mix until the butter well combined.
Serve the grey stuff with the chocolate pearls as is for a taste or on cake.
