Outlander: Brose Pudding
Outlander: Atholl Brose recipe inspired by the book and STARZ series, Outlander, by Diana Gabaldon. This traditional drink consists of whiskey and cream.
- 1/4 cup steel cut oats
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 cup cream
- 2 tbsp honey
- 4 cups Scotch whiskey
Mix together the oats and water. Let it sit for 1 hour and then squeeze the liquid out through a cheese cloth. Throw away the oats.
Mix together the liquid from the oats, cream, honey, and whiskey. Pour it into a bottle and place it in the refrigerator for a day before serving.
