2 -chicken breast filletsdiced into bite size pieces
2.5oz/ 70g / 1/2 cup - all purpose flour
1/4cup- cornstarch
1 -egglarge, beaten
1tsp- garlic powder
1/2tsp- onion powder
1 1/2tsp- salt
1 1/2cup- water
salt and pepperas needed
vegetable oilas needed
Instructions
Heat enough oil in a pot over medium heat to deep fry.
Combine all the dries in a bowl and mix to combine. Add the lightly beaten egg and water. Mix until smooth. The batter should be thick enough to coat a spoon.
Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Once the oil is heat to 325F- 350F, dip the pieces of chicken in the batter and fry until golden brown.
