Prepare your lollipop sticks and mold on a silpat lined sheet pan. I didn't have mold specific for this shape and thankfully found a tutorial on how to make your own. Please follow the posted link above for more detail.

Add your water, sugar, corn syrup, and cream of tartar in a small pot over medium high heat. If any sugar collects on the side of the pan, brush with down with a bit of water on a food safe brush to prevent crystallization.

When the sugar reaches 310F, take it immediately off the heat and mix in one drop of the food coloring. Stir to combine.

Pour the mixture into the prepared molds and set aside to cool and harden. Remove the mold when the lollipops are hardened.

To create the eyes and teeth, take a bit of violet coloring and start to draw it out with a fine tip brush. Shade in the edges of the face to create a more skull-like face. Let it dry before packaging.
