TERRY: Enough of this, that’s it, I’m gonna make a hot toddy. That’s what she needs.
TONY: You’re gonna intoxicate her.
RUDY: It is natural, it’s all herbal, nothing strong.

Feast of Starlight
A recipe for a hot toddy inspired by the movie, Joy, starring Jennifer Lawrence.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp - honey
  • 1 tsp - lemon juice
  • 4 oz - warm water
  • 2 oz - brandy or whiskey I used Jack Daniel's Winter Jack
  • cinnamon stick
  • 2 lemon peels

Instructions
 

  • Mix together the warm water, honey, and lemon juice until dissolved. Add the bourbon or whiskey and mix to combine.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick and twist of lemon peel.
