Coraline: Other Mother’s Dinner

Coraline: Other Mother's Dinner

Coraline: Other Mother’s Dinner

I hope everyone has their costumes ready for Halloween! It’s only a few more days until then and I’m so excited to start carving my pumpkins. If you’re not planning on trick-or-treating, I’ve got the perfect dinner and movie plan for you! One of my favorite movies during Halloween is Coraline. It’s a stop motion fantasy film about a girl named Caroline who finds herself in another world that is quite strangely similar to the life she was already living.

There is quite a lot of food mentioned in the movie but we first see this dinner that Other Mother made for her when she first entered the other world. I’ll be posting more photos and recipes very soon. I hope you enjoy it!

OTHER FATHER:
“We give our thanks and ask to bless,
Our Mother’s golden chicken breast!”

CORALINE:
“Mmmm, this chicken is good.”

OTHER MOTHER:
Hungry, aren’t you.

CORALINE:
Do you have any gravy?

OTHER MOTHER:
Well, here comes the gravy train! Choo-choo!

OTHER MOTHER:
Another roll, sweet peas? Corn on the cob?

CORALINE:
I’m real thirsty.

OTHER MOTHER:
Of course! Any requests?

CORALINE:
Mango milk shake?
